Start as a Scrum Master and move to the Product Owner position. Begin your journey as a Scrum Master, working closely with experienced product professionals to master the art of Agile.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives) to keep our projects on track.
- Support the Product Owner and Development Team in maintaining a well-groomed backlog.
- Champion continuous improvement and team member motivation by identifying and addressing areas for enhancement in our Agile practices
As a Product Owner, collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and business stakeholders, to define product features and requirements.
- Assist in translating business goals and user needs into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and product backlogs.
- Prioritize and manage the product backlog to ensure the development team is focused on delivering the highest value features.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews, providing insights and clarifications to the development team.
Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring effective communication and alignment of objectives. Monitor the product development lifecycle, addressing any roadblocks and ensuring timely delivery of features. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in product management and IT.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.6 + months of experience as a Scrum Master, Product Owner, or related role within the IT industry.
- Agile Enthusiasm: A foundational understanding of Agile principles, with a willingness to grow and learn.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, essential for collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment, ready to embrace new challenges.
- Problem-Solving Prowess: Ability to adapt and find creative solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Fundamental knowledge in creating user stories, acceptance criteria, and maintaining product backlogs.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions and drive continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with project management tools and software, such as JIRA or Trello.
- Passion for technology and a keen interest in staying updated with the latest trends and developments.
