You:
- You are an engineer. That means (to us) that you understand why it is important to test and monitor the software, automate deployment, learn the hardware requirements, and understand engineering basics such as networking, OS system, cloud vs. on-premise, etc.
- You have 3+ years of experience in Python development
- You have advanced knowledge of SQL
- You have built APIs before and know all the caveats of a clean REST API
- You have experience building microservices, handling events in event-driven applications, storing data in the appropriate database
- You already know / would like to learn distributed technologies
- You are familiar with serverless concepts and you already worked / would like to work in a serverless setup
- You worked on a project with Scrum organization, so you know how to prepare for daily, demo, retrospectives, refinement and you know how to manage your work transparently 5through the issue tracking tool
- You like learning new things and are open to exploring different approaches to solutions
- You like a healthy balanced relationship between work and free time – we don’t like overtime
- You know when and how to ask for help – we’re here to work together
Tech:
- Python API frameworks like Flask/FastAPI/Django
- Glue code is written in Python/Java/Scala
- PowerBI, Superset tech for visualization/reporting
- Ansible/Terraform for pipeline automation and deployment
- Airflow for orchestration
- Writing cloud-native data pipelines using AWS/Azure/GCP or custom pipelines using open-source tools
